Roof-top tents are designed to be mounted on standard roof racks, with two normal crossbars made by aftermarket brands such as Yakima, Thule etc. Check these specs to determine what tent type will fit your vehicle:
How much weight can roof-top tents hold?
It depends on your roof rack and crossbars. Most roof-top tent brands can hold about 900 lbs. (400 kg), while the ladders are safe for up to 330 lbs. (150kgs).
